The following events provide opportunities to learn more about products and technologies for accelerating infrastructure innovations.
Integral Abutment and Jointless Bridges Conference
March 16–18, 2005, Baltimore, MD
The conference will provide a forum for
engineers and researchers to share, discuss,
and develop state-of-the-art practices for
the design, construction, and maintenance
of integral abutment and jointless bridges.
The event is sponsored by the Federal
Highway Administration (FHWA), West
Virginia Department of Transportation,
and West Virginia University.

International Conference on Best
Practices for Ultra-Thin and Thin
Whitetoppings (UTW and TWT)
April 12-15, 2005, Denver, CO
The conference will review progress made
in whitetopping technologies since 1992 and
help identify best practices for selecting candidate
projects and designing, constructing,
and repairing UTWs and TWTs. The event
is sponsored by FHWA, the Colorado
Department of Transportation, American
Concrete Pavement Association, Transportation
Research Board, and the International
Society for Concrete Pavements.
